Built by broadcast professionals for the next generation of crews

plazalink is a UK resource dedicated to audiovisual production excellence, covering studio design, camera control, lighting, sound and workflows for television networks and live events.

Our story

From the gallery floor to the classroom

plazalink began when a group of working directors, engineers and lighting designers realised that the best lessons never made it into a manual. They were learned during rehearsals, overnight rigs and live broadcasts.

Today we share that experience through practical courses, studio consultancy and workflow reviews for regional broadcasters, production companies and event teams throughout the United Kingdom.

What we stand for

  • Learn on real kit

Every session uses the same cameras, consoles and lighting systems you will meet in a working UK gallery.

  • Teach the why, not just the how

We explain the engineering and craft decisions behind each setting so you can adapt to any studio.

  • Keep workflows simple

Clear, documented processes reduce errors on air and make handovers between crews painless.

Our approach

Tidy systems make calm productions

A well-planned machine room, clear labelling and consistent camera set-ups are what let a crew focus on the programme. Our courses show you how to design, document and maintain those foundations.
